Employees at Wells' Dairy in Le Mars have rejected a proposed new labor contract. Voting began Wednesday and wrapped up Friday. A statement from the company says Wells' Dairy is disappointed. Around 1,400 workers were voting on a new two year contract. 56% of workers voted against a similar deal back in March. This evening's statement from the company says Wells' Dairy is committed to resuming negotiations with the employees committee. Wells' Dairy is the maker of Blue Bunny ice cream.
