Hundreds of people gathered in Arthur, Iowa Tuesday for a "Celebration of Ethanol" It was part of the open house for the Platinum Ethanol facility. Guests were given a tour and enjoyed a small air show featuring planes fueled with ethanol.

The new plant employs 50 people and will produce up to 110 million gallons of fuel per year. Although it is already operating, the new ethanol plant is still under construction with a new 1.2 million bushel grain bin going up that should be ready by fall.
