(KINGSLEY, IA) A weekend accident claims the life of a Remsen, Iowa man. 29-year-old Michael Ahlers was found dead just north of Kingsley after a caller reported that a vehicle was partially submerged in the Little Sioux River early Monday afternoon.

Ahlers' family had notified police on Sunday that he had not been seen since early saturday morning.

Police say foul play is not a factor in the accident. the investigation continues.
