Highway 12 in Plymouth County will close November 2nd so crews can repair a potential embankment slide. The work will be done about seven miles north of the Woodbury County line.

Iowa 12 traffic is being detoured using Plymouth County roads K18 North and C38.

The closure is expected to be in place up to two weeks.
