The Women's Power Lunch is welcoming a sitcom superstar to this year's event. 

Two time emmy-award winning actress and mother of four, Patricia Heaton will be this year's special guest. United Way members says Heaton was chosen for her honesty and humor.  Organizers are hoping her star power will help them meet they're fundraiser goal.

Molly Hewitt, United Way's Campaign and Communications Associate told KPTH, "Last year we raised $46,000 including the matching funds from the Waitt Family Foundation. We've raised over $173,000 to date, we're expecting given the name that we've got, that we'll have even higher proceeds this year which would be our highest year."

Proceeds from the event will pay for scholarships for single parents to attend area Colleges and Universities. The 10th annual luncheon is Thursday, April 22nd at the Marina Center in South Sioux City.
