A planned environmental education center in Hinton receives a big boost. 

The project has received an I-jobs Vision Iowa grant for $85,0000. The total cost of the project is $500,000. The project includes construction of a 4,500 square foot building at Hinton's Hillview Recreation Area.   

The grant is contingent on the completion of fundraising in 120 days and a clear description of the building's sustainable design features.
