Dakota County Residents Come out in Droves fro H1N1 Vaccine

Homer Community School had 600 doses of H1N1 vaccine available Friday.

The hallways were packed with people relieved to now have some piece of mind and protection against the flu bug.

Pat Foust, Director of Dakota County Emergency Management says, "I think that H1N1 has affected every part of Nebraska.  It's spreading faster than people thought it would, there have been more deaths as a result of it than were predicted, so I think every part of Nebraska has been impacted."

Health Department officials planned to stay at the school until they served everyone in line or were out of vaccine, which ever came first.
